Elisha Hawk, Janet, Jenner & Suggs, LLC focuses her practice on complex products liability and mass tort litigation. Since joining Janet, Jenner & Suggs in July 2009, Ms. Hawk has taken on leadership roles in multiple products liability actions. As a result of her efforts to bring justice to her clients, Ms. Hawk has been selected to be the State Chair for Maryland cases by the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the New England Compounding Pharmacy MDL. In 2013, Ms. Hawk was honored by the Maryland Super Lawyers by being named a Rising Star for 2013.Ms. Hawk graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2008 with a Certificate in Health Law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Hawk taught middle school English. She taught for six years in Baltimore City Public Schools and for five years at Calvert School. She also completed a Master of Liberal Arts program at Johns Hopkins University before deciding to earn her law degree. In addition to being an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice, Ms. Hawk also remains active in education, serving as the Special Needs Chair for the Parent Teacher Association’s Student and Family Council at Roland Park Elementary Middle School. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their four kids and two dogs.

Elizabeth Frey,Dugan, Babij & Tolley, LLC is both an accomplished trial attorney and registered nurse who focuses her professional practice on catastrophic medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Beth graduated with honors from the York Hospital School of Nusing in Pennsylvania, where she received her diploma as a registered nurse. Beth practiced nursing at four East Coast hospitals, primarily in the area of adult intensive care. Beth received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the Univeristy of Maryland School of Nusing, and law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. As a nurse-attorney, Beth strives to accomplish her goals of being a patient advocate and improving the quality of patient care through her representation of the victims of medical negligence. Beth was the first nurse-attorney to serve as President of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, now know as the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ). She is a member of the MAJ's Presidents Club as a Founder, as well as the Trial Lawyers' Association of Metropolitian Washington, D.C., the American Association for Justice, and the American Association of Nurse Attorneys. Beth is licensed to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania. She has coached high school mock trial teams, and has lectured at middle schools, high schools, nursing schools, and for bar associations on medical/legal topics. Beth resides in rual Maryland with her husband and three children. When she can spare time from her busy professional practice, Beth's focus is on her children and everything they do, particularly lacrosse, photography, biking, hiking and traveling.
Larry Greenberg, Greenberg Law Offices received his B.A. from Boston University and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. His practice focuses on representing individuals who are seriously injured through the negligence of others. Mr. Greenberg also represents individuals accused of serious crimes and traffic offenses. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, both State and Federal levels, the United States District Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Supreme Court for the United States. Mr. Greenberg is a member of the American Association for Justice, Maryland State Bar Association, Bar Association of Baltimore City and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association. Mr. Greenberg previously served on MAJ's Board of Governors where he served as chair of the following committees: Education and Programs, Sponsorship, Membership and the Criminal Law Section. He has presented continuing legal education programs on personal injury litigation and criminal law. Mr. Greenberg is a Captain and Legal Officer JAG of the Maryland Defense Force where he provides legal support for the Maryland Army National Guard and the Maryland Air National Guard. He is repeatedly recognized in Baltimore Magazine as a Super Lawyer, named within the Top 100 Trial Lawyers for Maryland and has a Superb AVVO rating.
Alison Kohler,Dugan, Babij & Tolley, LLC is the Past President of the Maryland Association for Justice (formerly the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association) and received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Georgetown University Law Center, magna cum laude, in 1981. As an undergraduate, Alison attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she received two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Chemincal Engineering and one in Humanities and Science. Alison has long fought to protect the legal rights of injured victims through her leadership positions in the Maryland Association for Justice. Alison has been a member of the Board of Governonr of the Maryland Association for Justice since 1998 where she served as an officer between 2001 and 2007 and President for the 2005-2006 Bar year. Alison is licensed to practice law in Maryland and maintains the prestigious "A/V" rating from Martindale-Hubble, publisher of the Definitive Directory of American's Leading Lawyers. Over her career, Alison has recovered millions of dollars for her clients and has been distinguished for her accomplishments as a member of the "Million Dollar Advocates Forum." Alison has been perennially recgonized as a "Super Lawyer" by her peers and as one of the "Top 500 Lawyers" by Law Dragon. Alison was also recgonized as one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Maryland in Baltimore Magazine in 2011. Alison has litigated complex medical malpractice, personal injury and nursing home cases in both state and federal courts. Complimenting her legal practice, Alison is a past president of the Executive Women's Network and was a board member of the Maryland Humanities Council. Alison continues to serve on the Grants Committee of the Council. Alison, her husband, and their two children live on a farm in rual Maryland with a menagerie of horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and geese. Alison is an active volunteer in her church and in her children's schools, helping to produce school musicals as well as supporting related school activities. When able to take a respite from her busy trial practice, Alison, a lifelong singer, has been involved with various choral groups and theather companies, ranging from singing with the Boston Symphony as part of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus to participating in Gilbert & Sullivan operettas in Baltimore's Young Victorian Theatre to currently singing in The Deer Creek Chorale. Alison keeps herslef active by playing golf, fishing, skiing and horseback riding with her family and friends.
Wendy Shiff, Salsbury, Clements, Bekman, Marder & Adkins, LLC
Wendy L. Shiff is a determined advocate. She has been a medical negligence lawyer for more than 20 years. For five years, Ms. Shiff represented health care providers in medical negligence cases. She then elected to become a plaintiff's trial attorney and since has successfully won substantial awards that have significantly improved the quality of life for children and families. As a result of these achievements, she has been invited to membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization recognizing attorneys who have achieved settlements or verdicts in excess of one million dollars.
Wendy Shiff serves on the Board of Governors for the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and serves on its Education and Program Committee, the Membership Services Committee and is the MTLA's liason to the Coalition for Patient's Rights. She is also President of the Board of Directors of The League for People with Disabilities, Inc.
Laura Zois,Miller & Zois, LLC received her bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in 1991. She graduated from the University of Baltiore with honors in 1995. After graduation, Ms. Zois primarily defended insurance companies in auto accident cases, trying over 300 cases in District Court and Circuit Court. Her superior litigation skills earned the trust of insurance companies such as Allstate, Nationwide, State Farm, and The Hartford and commercial clients such as Rite Aid, Home Depot, and Chrysler. Ms. Zois has taken the experience she gained working with the insurance companies and now works for injured victims. Accordingly, her practice focuses on representing people who have been injured in automobile and truck accidents in Maryland and around the country. One of the few prolific female plaintiff's attorneys, she is well known among Maryland trial lawyers for achieving noteworthy verdicts. Ms. Zois is on the Board of Governors of the Maryland Association for Justice, Inc. (MAJ). Ms. Zois is regularly invited to speak to Maryland personal injury attorneys on issues related to the handling of auto accident, motorcycle accident, and truck accident cases in Maryland. She has spoken at the annual American Association of Justice (formerly American Trial Lawyers Association) Jazzfest seminar on auto torts. Ms. Zois was honored as a Super Lawyer by the Maryland SuperLawyers Magazine from 2008-2012 and was named by SuperLawyers as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Maryland in 2012.
